The Bull Hotel is an exclusive hotel in the heart of the city of Peterborough, and just a short stroll away from the ancient Norman Peterborough Cathedral with its magnificent painted roof. It is also the first resting place of Mary Queen of Scots, who was beheaded at Fotheringhay, as well as the tomb of Catherine of Aragon.
 

Nearby is the historic town of Stamford and the Regal Burghley House, which was recently the location for the films of the novels, Pride and Prejudice, and The Da Vinci Code. Burghley House and Grounds, is also the setting for the annual Burghley Horse Trials which takes place in September.

About a thirty-minute drive away is the ancient University City of Cambridge which offers a wealth of things to do at any time of the year.

Other places of interest include Royal Sandringham the favoured estate of the Royal Family, Nene Valley Railway, a must for steam enthusiasts, and home of "Thomas The Tank Engine", Rutland Water, the largest man made lake in Europe, offering many outdoor pursuits, and of course Flag Fen which is Britain's Bronze Age Centre.

The Hotel is also ideally positioned for travel to the wider area with easy access to the major road networks, the rail and bus stations, and Heathrow and Stansted Airports which are less than one hundred miles away by car.
