Christmas at the Caledonian
Have a relaxing time away this Christmas at the Caledonian Hotel. The Caledonian is situated just outside Newcastle City centre in the cosmopolitan area of Jesmond. Jesmond Dene and park are just ten minutes walk away. West Jesmond Metro station is also just a short walk away with links to Newcastle's transport network.
Christmas Eve
Arrive at your leisure and unwind after your journey with afternoon tea in the Billabong Bar. Later enjoy a three course meal in the Billabong Bistro followed by musical entertainment or alternatively there are carol services in our local churches, all within walking distance.
Christmas Day
After a leisurely breakfast attend one of the many church services within walking distance or relax at the hotel. Christmas lunch will be served in our Bistro followed by the Queen's speech and Christmas cake in the Billabog Bar. Christmas night enjoy our festive buffet followed by musical entertainment in the Billabong Bar.
Boxing Day
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then head out to the Metro Centre and catch the first day of the sales in Europe's largest shopping and entertainment centre. Alternatively explore the beautiful Northumberland coastline and take a bracing walk on one of our unspoilt beaches with breathtaking views of castles and seascape. Return in time for dinner and musical entertainment in the Billabong Bar.
