About Peel Hotels
Peel Hotels was listed on the AIM market in the spring of 1998 when Robert Peel bought the Bull Hotel in Peterborough. Robert had worked as Chief Executive of Mount Charlotte Hotels, renamed Thistle Hotels, from 1977-1998. That Company, under his stewardship, grew from a £300,000 Company to the second largest Hotel Company in the United Kingdom and the largest in London with over 6,500 bedrooms.
Robert and his brother Charles own over 50% of the Company and are committed to build a Hotel Company with the highest standards of Hotelkeeping in key locations in cities and towns in the United Kingdom. Whilst a progressive dividend policy is the paramount objective of the Company, continuing re-investment in the product is equally important. The client is King at Peel Hotels and we like to think that, being effectively family owned, we care more and give more, in order to exceed our guests' best expectations.
Value for price is essential in today's market place and at Peel Hotels we take pride in our guests comparing our product, our service, our standards and our people with the competition. Each Hotel is perfectly located in each city or town adding further value and free car parking is available at each Hotel except for the Cosmopolitan in Leeds, Strathdon in Nottingham and the Norfolk Hotel, Bournemouth.
There are extensive banqueting, training and conference facilities in each of our Hotels and we offer free internet access throughout the Company.
