Midland Hotel are seeking an experienced hotel Receptionist. The successful candidate will have at least 1 years working experience as a Hotel Receptionist. Training will be provided for their in house systems. You would be delivering a warm welcome to every guest and ensuring that 1st impressions count. The role would involve telephone enquiries and transferring the call to the correct department. Using the in house computer system to check in and out guests, balancing accounts and cash/credit card handling. You would be ensuring that standards behind and in front of house match the rest of the hotel. You will be friendly and a professional candidate, a good team player with excellent communication and computer skills and the ability to work other departments, especially housekeeping and maintenance. You need to have a calm manner, able to work under pressure and be of excellent presentation. It is essential that you have superb communication skills, are friendly, helpful and approachable.
